Kari Breed is a designer who has been weaving for over fifteen years and was taught by master artist Ed Johnetta Miller through the Greater Hartford Arts Council.

Weave the People Creations was founded in 2012 in Boston, MA with the mission of designing and weaving handmade, one of a kind scarves that are both fashionable and practical. Weave the People Creations’ scarves are carefully hand-woven on a floor loom using a soft, acrylic/nylon blend yarn for the warmth that wool offers without the irritation. All Weave the People Creations’ scarves are machine washable and will wear for many seasons without compromising quality.

Weave the People Creations’ scarves come in two different lengths: long (approx. 7 feet) – great for wrapping around your neck and wearing in many different styles; short (approx. 4 feet) – perfect for layering under a coat without the bulk. There’s a scarf and style for everyone, and they make truly exceptional gifts.

  1. Keri,
I bought a sea foam 7 ft. scarf from you at the Needham Craft Fair. I really like it and want to to buy a green scarf also. Your website shows a heading picture that includes a couple of soft” greens. what are the names of these colors? Also, When is your next craft show?

    • Hi Kathy May!
I’m so glad to hear you like your scarf! The soft green that you see in the gallery is called “light thyme” and it pairs really nicely with black, brown, camel and white.

I will be at two more shows this season:

Saturday, November 16th: Newton Highlands Craft Fair
      10AM – 4PM
Hyde Center, 90 Lincoln Street, Newton Highlands, MA 02461

Saturday, December 7th: 6th Annual FHS Holiday Marketplace
      10AM – 4PM
Framingham High School, A Street, Framingham, MA 01701

If you can’t make it to one of those shows, please feel free to email me at kari.maguda@gmail.com and I’d be happy to talk further if there was a scarf/pattern you were interested in.

Thank you for reaching out, and have a nice evening!
