Spring is near

Happy 2017 everyone! The year is off to a great start, as my husband and I are excited to welcome our baby girl in July! We have started nesting, but that doesn’t mean that the loom gets stored away. I’m back at it, and even though today has been a dreary day weather-wise, the scarf I was working on says otherwise.

First Winter Wonderland

Great day yesterday at Charlestown’s First Winter Wonderland! The morning was chilly, but with the sun shining, everyone was out and about on their morning walks. The Charlestown Stroll was really organized with printed maps to outline all the participating businesses, where Santa was, and all the vendors. Looking forward to doing this show again next year. I hope to see some of my scarves in my own neighborhood while I’m out walking my dog, Stanley!

Wellesley Marketplace Recap

Great time yesterday at the Wellesley Marketplace. It was my first time at the show, and it was quite the experience! 300+ vendors, a premium shopping hour and thousands of people led to a very busy day.  Nice way to finish out the craft show season. I still have some inventory though, so if you are looking for Christmas gifts, please reach out.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Booth display

I should have taken a before and after of the cascading bin display from Saturday’s show at Needham. Need to (literally) fill in the holes between now and 11/19 at Wellesley to get it back looking like this:

That’s a wrap!

Thank you everyone for coming out to the Needham Craft Fair today. Some of my highlights included: spending the day with my mom while my dad and husband golfed, visits from some of my close friends and family, an old customer from 3 years ago arriving at my booth wearing one of my scarves and saying how she had been on the search for me for years, and selling an all-time record of 65 scarves! I’ve got a lot of work to do between now and Wellesley, but tonight I’m taking the night off after being on cloud 9!
